Just as smaller tables that accomodate 3-, 4-, and 5-people, the main table (accomodates up to 18 people) also ascends from the kitchen floor through a trap door. Similarly, the process works in reverse, the main table descending if desired. The main table also has the machinery to support all 18 dishes that can ascend from the kitchen or descend to the kitchen, with signalling bells. One must consider the weight of large tables!
